My first fully-rigged (if you can call a cheap tripod, a 89-cent piece of posterboard, and a cereal box snoot “rigged”) off-camera flash shot. Learning how to control the light was challenging enough, but getting a spotless martini glass is pretty much impossible.

I’m nowhere near the level of rjdesq’s shot that sort of inspired this attempt, but this one session taught me a lot. Mainly, it taught me I need to get a proper lighting kit.
